It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Hicks (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Samuel and Gladys Ruth Mutispaugh (Bayless); her sister Beverly Jean Large (Mutispaugh); her siblings-in-law, Scott Large and Bobbie Meece (Hicks); and her son-in-law Randy Whitacre.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Lynn Whitacre (Hicks), Tracy Ann Leonard (Hicks) and V. M. (Jeffrey Leonard); her grandchildren, Robert Lee Leonard and Kathryn Ann Leonard; and her nieces, Karen Meece and Cheryl Large Severns.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Shirley to the American Heart Association or Ohio's Hospice Foundation.
