She is survived by: her daughters, Sobriyia Rucker (Mayowa Bukola), Lenee Rucker, Genoa Rucker Awe and Kyasa Buchanan James (Marcus James); her grandchildren, Kevin Rucker, Jermaine Winn Jr., Ja'Bria Winn and Grace Awe; her siblings, Corine Knight, Dorine Buchanan, Willie J. Buchanan Jr., Corinthia Buchanan-Williams, Reginal Hawkins, Tranel Hawkins and Dowyell Buchanan-Thomas; and her friends, Stacey Breckenridge and Stasia Davis.
