She was predeceased by : her parents, Bradley Dent Sr. and Seleicka Dent (Turner). She is survived by : her siblings, Bradley Jr., Byron, Victor, Richard, Glenn, Dale, Lynn, Stacey, Marie (Henderson), Izetta Thomas, Lillian White, Glenna Hennison and William Dent (Neadeane); her husband Samuel Coatney; her daughters, Anitria, Yolanda and Ladonia; her grandchildren, Markus Hearn (Danielle), Tieran Bonner, Jacquia, Breyonia and Jalen Hearn; her great grandchildren, Jaeden and Navah Hearn; and her caregiver Aide. She is also survived by husband, daughters.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the H. H. Roberts Mortuary (38 S Gettysburg Ave, Dayton, OH 45417). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at the Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428).
