She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Stevenson and Emma Myrtle Burton; her husband Eddie Shepherd; her former husband James Lay; her grandson Charlie Brewer; and her daughter-in-law Mona Brown Lay.
She is survived by: her sister Ilene Stevenson; her children, Danny Lay, Debbie Gambrell (Tony) and Donna Karlsberger (David); her grandchildren, Shauna Clements (Russell), Heather Landers (Scott), D. J. Lay, David Karlsberger and Jessie Karlsberger (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Taylor Hibbs (Kaleb), William Wening, Anthony Landers (Bethaney), Kaleigh Mackey (Travis), Hailey Day (Ryan), Mia Landers and Max Lancaster; her great great grandchildren, Frankee Hibbs, Paislee Flanery, Parker Flanery and Hazel Landers; and her friend Fanny Brown. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
