He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Barnes (Marty) and James Barnes; and his wife Bonita. He is survived by: his children, Robin McCaslin (Ron) of Cincinnati, Thomas Barnes Jr. of New Carlisle and Tony Barnes (Donna) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Amber Hughes, Toni Barnes, Ryan Barnes, Alexander Rin McCaslin and Sarah Barnes; and his brothers, Donald and Robert Barnes. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 1 niece and 1 nephew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
