He was predeceased by: his parents, Raphael R. Kavanaugh (Ray) and Beth Kavanaugh; and his brother Raphael R., Jr. (Ray). He is survived by: his wife Jo Ellen (Jo); his children, Bryan and Emily Hoyt (Ryan); his grandchildren, Peyton, Taylor and Brooke; his brothers, Frank, Kevin (Tammy) and John (Susan); and his sister-in-law Judy Rechberger. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton or your charity of choice.
