He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Mary; his brother Michael Jenkins; and his nephew David Hoesten. He is survived by: his wife Betsy; his daughters, Abigail Jenkins (Charlie Sliemers), Jamie Carey (Jeff Carey), Robyn Newman (Geoff Newman) and Kelsey Jenkins (Brett Stewart); his grandchildren, Carson Max, Heidi, Dashell, Zoe, Archie and Jay; and his siblings, David Jenkins and Anne Hoersten.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Wright State University or Ohio Wesleyan University, in honor of Tom's lifelong commitment to education.
