She is survived by: her children, Spencer Mims (Jessica), Jonas Mims and Hunter Mims (LaRon); her sisters, Kay Rose and Sadonna Lett-Burchfield; her sister-in-law Martha Shepard (Derrick); and her pet Memphis. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends.
