He is survived by: his son Matthew Newkir of Oregon; his siblings, Becky Horine (Rob) of Eaton, Jill Newkirk of Texas, Deborah Brush of Eaton, Ohio, Kevin Newkirk and Kent Newkirk; his grandson Matthew Newkirk; and his close friends, Victor Farrell (Chip), Vicki, Josh Mangold, Hurt Tibbets and Holly Evans. He is also survived by ten nieces; nine nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
