It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Mae (Halderman) Bruns of Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Halderman and Bertha Shilt (Cummins); her husband Paul R. Bruns, Sr.; her daughters, Ester Marie Bruns, Bertha Mae Morris and Brenda Fields; and her sons-in-law, Kevin Bierman and Jim Law.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Bruns (Sue), Ron Bruns (Mark Stamper), Gary Bruns (Janet), Mike Bruns (Gwen), Rick Bruns, Carol Bierman, Judy Adams (Danny) and Dorthy Law; her sons-in-law, Steve Fields and Doug Morris; her half-siblings, Thelma Rutt and Clarence Halderman; and her grandchildren, Tammy Moon, Paula Wilmoth, Gary Bruns, Jr., Carrie Joan Earnhart, Michael Bruns, Jr., Scott Allen Bruns, Kevin Albert Bierman, John Paul Bierman, Phillip Lee Bierman, Stephanie Laughman, Justin Adams, Jarrod Morris, Christopher Morris, Jaqui Johnson, Renee Daisy Law and Jennifer Marie Law. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
