He is survived by: his children, Robert "Mike" (Michelle), Martin "Marty" Carpenter (Shannon) and Melinda "Mindy" Thompson (Michael); his grandchildren, Aaron Carpenter (Nichole), Sarah Gravity (Metatron), Tyler Carpenter, Cameron Carpenter, Tristan Carpenter, Michaela Hewines (Dean), Mackenna Thompson and Mekenzie Thomspon; his great grandchildren, William, Alayna, Wesley Carpenter, Apollo, Orion, Peace and Phoenix Gravity; and his sisters, Allie Sexton (Darrel) and Ada Ballard (Bill).
