She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Luleen Kelley and Owen Kelley; her husband Benarvin Starks; her siblings-in-law, Vernon Holman (Regina), Ritchie Gardell Holman (Celeste), Jerome Holman (Chubby), Ethel Scandrick (Donnie) and Jackie Holman; her adoptive son Tony Smith; her cousins, Marsha and Bill Ragland; and her close friends, Annette Smith, Sheila Simen, Lonnie Bynum and Frank Watkins.
