He is survived by: his wife Dortha Lee; his children, Lisa Brown (Mike) and Timothy Gross (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Timothy Gross (Erin), Jesse Gross (Stephanie), Aaron Brown (Sabrina), Evan Brown (Josie) and Nicolas Brown.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Heritage Hills Memory Gardens (7370 OH-48, Springboro, OH 45066).
His contribution to his community extended beyond the classroom, as he was involved in the Masonic Lodge in Irvine, Kentucky, and the Scottish Rite in Dayton.
