She is survived by: her children, Richard Powell, Rebecca Lenardson, Janet "Billie" Keaton, Samantha Bowling (Ted) and Kathy Waikel (Heath); her sister Janet Buggs; her husband Hubert Thacker; her parents, Stanley Powell and Nannie Powell; and her daughter Rhonda Graves. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
