He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Kley and Irene M. Kley (Stutz); and his sister Dorothy Hammer. He is survived by: his wife Janet Kley; his children, Kimberle Charles (Timothy), Chris Kley (Jim) and Laura Hottinger (Maria); his siblings, Phyllis Taylor, John Kley (Cindy) and Brenda Shemo; and his stepgrandsons, James, John and Timothy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; as well as several other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Walters honor to Newcomer Funeral Home to assist with arrangements.
