He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jan Dobbins; his daughter Jackie Mason (Chris); his granddaughters, Joy Mason, Melody Mason and Samantha Mason; his siblings, Debbie Dobbins McDowell (Randy), Danny Dobbins (Merdith) and Doug Dobbins (Peggy); his parents-in-law, Shirley and John Filippi; his siblings-in-law, Rhonda, Steve Wilson, Joe, Rebecca Filippi, Gayle, Jim Witte, Sue, Dan Noxsel, Johnny, Sandy Filippi, Carol, Gary Marquart and Bill McDowell; and his family Dave.
