John C. Applegate Obituary
We announce the death of John C. Applegate of Deer Park, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 77. He is survived by: his wife Karen Applegate; his children, Jennifer McNamara (Shawn), Tracy Eubanks (Greg), Kimberly Chaney (Cary) and Kelly Lemuel; and his brothers, Mark Applegate (late Bev) and Craig Applegate (late Debbie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home (10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association (https://www.apdaparkinson.org), the Northeast Cincinnati Rotary Foundation, or to Hospice of Cincinnati.
