He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Maurice Niehaus and Catherine Niehaus; and his brother Judge Richard Niehaus (Wendy). He is survived by: his wife Sherry Schmeing Niehaus; his sons, Carl Niehaus (Tony) and Nicholas Niehaus; his granddaughter Ainsley Stella Niehaus; and his siblings, Barron Niehaus (Amy) and Elizabeth Niehaus Beringhaus (Kerry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
