He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Ferguson and Marguerite Ferguson of Deersville; his wife Marie Stahl; his brothers, John, Delmar and Kenneth Ferguson; and his son-in-law Brett Nelms.

He is survived by : his children, Howard Ferguson, Karen Nelms, Mark and Lisa Ferguson; his grandchildren, Chantil Milam (Justin), Brooke Wilson (Matt) and Connor Ferguson; and his great grandchildren, Blake and Harper Milam.
