She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Weber and Louise Weber (Hall); her husband Ernest F. George; and her brother William Weber. She is survived by: her children, Doug and Denise Austermiller (Jim); her grandchildren, Bradley Austermiller (Mindy), Amanda Shreve (Ryan), Christina Austermiller, Tyler George, Ryan George and Evyn George; her great grandchildren, Ayla, Brynn, Caelyn, Dax Austermiller, Kenley and Colby Shreve; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Friend.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (510 Jackson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512).
In lieu of flowers, suggested memorials can be directed to St. Mary's Food Pantry, or ELARA Caring Hospice.
