She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fenter and Helen Fenter (Carroll); her grandson Cole A. Bennett; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Bennett. She is survived by: her husband James Bennett of Defiance; her sons, Edward Bennett (Laurie Hockenberry), Mark Bennett (Theresa), Jonathon Bennett (Tara Blair) and Scott Bennett (Julie Weber); and her brothers, John Fenter (Benita), Paul "Corky" Fenter and Stephen Fenter (Karen). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
