With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles W. Hardy of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Hardy and Mary Hardy (Cooley); and his siblings, Paul, Wayne Hardy and Pearl Hardy.

He is survived by : his brothers, Glen Hardy of Defiance, Orville Hardy (Linda) of Sherwood, OH and Jim Hardy (Ann) of Montpelier, OH..

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc. (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Poplar Ridge Church of the Brethren (6970 Domersville Rd, Defiance, OH 43512).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to CHP Defiance Hospice Center.
