He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Whiteford and Marilyn J. Whiteford (Myers); and his stepfather Leo "Pete" Wiseman. He is survived by: his children, Chuck Whiteford of Defiance, OH, Eric Whiteford (Katie) of Charlestown, IN and Kristin Zimmerman (Jason) of Defiance, OH; his siblings, Jodie Whiteford-Mohr of Defiance, John Whiteford of Defiance, Patricia Wiseman-Mobley of Defiance, Dona Ortberg, Kim Whiteford and Sherie Tiernan; and his grandchildren, Melia, Ruby, Lilly, Sophia, Graham and Theo.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
