She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eitniear and Nancy Eitniear (Brewer); her daughter Lindsay Newman; her sister Connie Jo Eitniear; and her brother-in-law Jim Bidlack.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Newman of Defiance; her sons, Brent Newman and Lance Newman (Lindsay); her grandchildren, Austin Hilvers (Sydney Roehrig), Gavin Reid (Hannah), Carson, Jaxson, Nora Newman, Joanna and Carter Newman; her great grandchild Hudson Hilvers; and her sisters, Becky Bidlack and Kathy Weber (Sid). She is also survived by her family and many good friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
