He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Hageman (Ball). He is survived by: his father Lisle Hageman of Pioneer, OH; his wife Penny Thompson (Matney) of Defiance; and his sons, Tony Barham (Mel) of Defiance, Danny A. Thompson (Tammy) of Sherwood, OH and Richard Thompson of Monroeville, IN.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Ft. Defiance Humane Society.
