He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellroy Lulfs and Bernita Lulfs (Brandt); and his former wife Peggy Wiseman. He is survived by: his children, Terri Lee Shook (Eric) and Jesse D Lulfs (Marlys); his wife Linda Long; his stepchildren, Roger Sweeney (Ann) of Troy, OH, Shannon Sweeney of Napoleon, OH and Tammy Lawrentz (Todd) of Circleville, OH; and his brother Phillip Lulfs (Lynda) of Ft. Wayne, IN.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church.
