Though Debra may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Debra touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Floyd and Katherine Floyd (Grahm); her spouse Thomas Walters; and her siblings, Jim Floyd and Cindy Britton.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Walters (Dee) of Defiance, Angie Walters Brewer of Defiance and Scott Walters (Tina) of Hicksville; and her sister Belinda Hamman of Defiance. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S Clinton St, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
