She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mitchell and Vivian Mitchell (Gallant). She is survived by: her husband Philip Karnes of Defiance; her children, Eric Shannon (Kristin) of Chicago, IL and Codi Hildebrandt (Joe) of Lakewood, OH; her stepchildren, Casey Karnes, Amy Novak (Nelson) and Emily Karnes; her siblings, Juli Kunesh and John Mitchell (Kim); and her grandchildren, Grace, Hugo, Henry, Nolan, Raegan, Vivian, Nova and Gus. She is also survived by her family and many good friends.
Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association or CHP Defiance Area Hospice Center.
