With solemn reverence, we commemorate Dolores Hammon of Defiance, Ohio, whose life came to an end on November 18, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Dolores may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dolores touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Lantow and Leona Lantow; her husband Richard Hammon; and her brother Robert Lantow. She is survived by: her children, Linda Westrick (Joseph), Cheryl Devine (Gary) and Jeffrey Hammon (Linda) of Dallas, Texas.; and her sister-in-law Sandra Lantow. She is also survived by her son, two daughters, five granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (715 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
