He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Porter and Ruth Porter (King); and his sons, Michael and Kenny Porter. He is survived by: his wife Sue Porter of Defiance; his children, Teresa Roughton (James Kirk) of Oakwood, OH, Charles Porter of Defiance and Joseph Porter (Lida) of Whitehouse, OH.; and his sister Pauline Staley of Arizona. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S Clinton St, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
