He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Weiss and Margaret Weiss (Stevenson); his sons, Jonathan S. and Edward J. Weiss; and his sister Margaret "Peggy" Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Taber; and his children, William Stewart of Defiance, OH, Robert Stewart (Cindy) of Mentor, OH, Rebecca Flynn of Defiance, OH, Sharon MacElrath (John) of Candler, NC, Sandra Smedley of Orlando, FL and Elizabeth Miller of Fletcher, NC. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
