She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Miller (Beaulieu) and Raymond Miller; and her spouse Dean P. Wellman. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Costa (David Bahner) of Columbus and Nikki Phenix (Darrin) of Greensboro, Georgia; her grandsons, Andrew Costa (Sonya Sasmal) of Portland, Ethan Costa of Chicago, Devin Phenix of Smyrna and Dylan Phenix of Athens, Georgia; and her siblings-in-law, Ann Miller of Oakwood, Ohio, Jan Wellman (Faith) of Cottage Grove, Oregon and Jean Messner of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
