Though Holly may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her parents, Paula Rutherford of Muncie, IN and Don Rutherford; and her children, Briley, Carly Rutherford and Colton Rodriguez of Defiance. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Holly Rutherford Education Fund for her children.
