As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ismael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Rodriguez and Mercedes Rodriguez (Arce). He is survived by: his wife Olga Rodriguez of Defiance; and his children, Tony Rodriguez, Fredie Rodriguez (Jodi), Evelyn Hughes (Bill) and Alan Rodriguez (Shelly). He is also survived by his family and many good friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
