He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Oberlin and Luella Oberlin (Knapp); his daughter Diane Lagerstrom; his son-in-law Jeffery Maag; and his siblings, Richard Oberlin, Laura Smith and Mary Webster.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Oberlin of Defiance; his children, Jeff Oberlin (Chris), Gary Oberlin (Karen) and Linda Maag; and his grandchildren, Matt Oberlin (Jessica), Jake Oberlin (Bridget), Amy Hohenbrink (Jason), Todd Oberlin (Erin), Andrea Fettig (Ryan) and Kelsey Lagerstrom. He is also survived by his family and many good friends.
