With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Minsel of Defiance, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jane Minsel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tuohy and Maude Tuohy (Clemens); her husband John Minsel; her son Patrick John "P. J." Minsel; her brother John E. Tuohy; and her parents-in-law, Edmond Minsel and Iola Minsel.
She is survived by: her son Michael Minsel of Defiance; her siblings, Al Tuohy (Linda) of Defiance, Patricia Michael (Bill) of Ney and Rita Westrick (George) of Defiance; and her sister-in-law Rita Tuohy of Rossford, OH. She is also survived by her family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S Clinton St, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (510 Jackson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512).
Memorials are suggested to St. John Catholic Church, The National Kidney Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice .
