He is survived by: his children, Dawn Karnes (John) of Defiance, Steve and Michelle; his stepson Kenny Daeger (Amy) of Defiance; his sisters, Karen Odenweller, Jane Imber (Joe), Susie Flores and Nancy Eickenberg (Jon); his brother-in-law John Dray; his uncle Don; and his aunt Kay Kraber.

Memorials are suggested to CHP Defiance Area Hospice.
