In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry John's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May John's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. Goldenetz and Mildred C. Goldenetz (McCann). He is survived by: his wife Mary Goldenetz of Defiance, OH; his children, Angela M. Goldenetz (Marc Wilson) of Indianapolis, IN and Michael J. Goldenetz of Fort Wayne, IN; and his grandchildren, Andrew M. Goldenetz and Macy M. Goldenetz.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (655 Wayne Ave, Defiance, OH 43512).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church, The Sight Center of Northwest Ohio, or to CHP Hospice.
