He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Simonis and Margaret Simonis (Beaubien); his brothers, Peter John Simonis, Stephen Simonis and Peter Anthony Simonis; and his grandson Nolan Andricks.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Kolb (Michael) of Defiance, Nicholas Simonis of Defiance, Angela Simonis of Paulding, OH and David Simonis of Sherwood, OH; his siblings, Annette Schroeder (Erwin) of Defiance, OH, Patricia VanDemark (Michael) of Defiance, OH, Jerome Simonis of Defiance, OH, Gregory Simonis of Defiance, OH and Mark Simonis (Amy) of Defiance, OH; Deb Simonis of Defiance, Ohio.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
