She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pease and Lela Pease (Harris); and her husband Henry Powell. She is survived by: her children, Steven Powell (Leigh) and Wendy Powell (Thomas Taylor); her grandchildren, Andrew, Cathryn, Abby, Flynn, David and Leila; and her brothers, Keith, Randy and Asa Pease. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.
