He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Draghiceanu (Ted); his grandson Christopher Greiner of Defiance; and his siblings, Jack Szabo of Fort Wayne, IN, Cindy Miller, Janet Shock of Defiance and Marlene Clapp of Jacksonville, FL..

Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
