It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Holman-Kile of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Graf and Marie Graf (Bowman); her husband Paul Kile; her daughter Deborah Ayers; her siblings, Richard Graf, Thelma Oser, Marjorie Huffman and Ruth Ann Johanns; and her son-in-law Randy Carnahan.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Terry Holman (Suzanne) of Napoleon, Michael Holman (Carla Hostettler) of Defiance, Sherri Seevers (Larry) of Defiance, Patricia Ayers (Robert) of Defiance, Melissa Hussey (Darin) of Defiance and Michele Carnahan of Garrett, IN.; her sister Norma Jean Meyer (Clarence); and her son-in-law Larry Ayers. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to ELARA Hospice.
