It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Purdy (Defiance, Ohio), who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Grussing and Elverta Grussing. She is survived by: her children, Douglas of Minneapolis, MN, Deborah Winter (James) of Superior Township, MI, Dianna Carlson (Robert) of Roseville, MN and Dawn Vozar (Michael) of Coldwater, MI; her grandchildren, Justin, Reid Winter, Erin Hudak, Ryan Carlson, Nathan, Daniel Purdy, Nicole Wachter and Melissa Vozar; her great grandchildren, Blake, Jaxson, Caulder, Sutton, Maverick, Sigrid, Otto, Ada, Emma and Brynlee; her sister Sharon Ricker (Lowell) of Defiance, OH; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Grussing of Bay City, MI..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (671 Clinton St, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
