He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Flory and Donna Flory (Snider). He is survived by: his wife Elaine Zipfel of Defiance; his daughters, Courtney Schroeder (Aron) of Galena, OH, Stephanie Sines (Brad) of Defiance, Leslie Flory (Randy Leitner) of Defiance, Mykaela Flory of Defiance and Claudia Flory of Columbus, OH.; his grandchildren, Easton, Corbin Braxton, Holden, Quinten and Josie; his siblings, Debbie Harpstripe (Tony) of Colorado Springs, CO, Kenny Flory of Defiance, Vicki Shaffner (Tom) of Grove City, OH, Kyle Bauer (Dave) of Defiance and Julie Creek (Dave) of Defiance; and his sister-in-law Sue Flory Brown of Defiance. He is also survived by his family and many good friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S Clinton St, Defiance, OH 43512). A vigil service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's the Ridge Catholic Church (05480 Moser Rd, Defiance, OH 43512).
Memorials are suggested to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
