We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Marvin Yoder of Defiance, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Yoder and Iva Yoder (Smead); his in-laws, Carl and Blanche Baker; his brother-in-law Bill Christen; and his grandson Cameron Kitchenmaster.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Bobbie" Brooks; his daughter Jenifer Kitchenmaster (Michael); his grandchildren, Jordan Wagner (Daniel Steffes), Lauren Woods (Cole), Drew Klausing, Paige Bidlack (Sean), Dylan and Ethan Kitchenmaster; his siblings, Larry Yoder (Sheri), Dennis Yoder (Raquella), Ed Yoder (Elayne), Marlene Crites (Marvin) and Karen Yoder; and his sister-in-law Pat Christen. He is also survived by the many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S Clinton St, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Ney United Methodist Church or the Fort Defiance Humane Society.
