Orla Friend Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2025, at the age of 104, Orla Friend (Defiance, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Emma Friend (Trietsch); his wife Sarah Cline (Cline); his grandson Richie; his friend Bob Ross; his children, Ann (Denny Seigman), Timothy (Luann Friend) and Deb (Dan Doenges); his daughter-in-law Rose (late Allen Friend); his children, Mary Elizabeth Friend and Allen Friend (Rose); his grandson Rich Seigman; his parent Orla H. Friend; and his siblings, Helen and Harland Friend. He was also cherished by 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials are to Bethel Christian Church or Wounded Warriors.
