She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Armstrong and Geneva Armstrong (Humes); her husband Thomas A. McDowell; and her stepson Dwaine McDowell. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Vonda Tijerina (Felix) of Defiance. She is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
