Phyllis leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Phyllis’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Phyllis will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Sprouse and Lydia Sprouse (Donaldson). She is survived by: her husband George Lero of Defiance; her son Terry Romaker (Jennifer) of Beavercreek, OH; and her granddaughters, Zoe and Haley Romaker. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S Clinton St, Defiance, OH 43512). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
