He is survived by: his wife Susan Wheeler (Geiger); his sons, Derek Wheeler (Alison) of Cincinnati and Brian Wheeler of Bryan, Ohio; his grandsons, Luke and Grant Wheeler; and his siblings, Vicky Herzog of Montpelier and Lonny Wheeler (Becky) of Stryker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
