With solemn reverence, we commemorate Robert W. Vogel of Defiance, Ohio, whose life came to an end on July 21, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Vogel (Carrick); his sister Tamara McNeal; his grandparents, Bernard and Hazel Vogel; and his great grandchild Mason Boff.
He is survived by: his father Robert Vogel; his wife Lana (Sontchi); his children, Randy Vogel (Angie) of Defiance, Christine Clemens (Scott) of Defiance and Craig Vogel (Samantha) of Defiance; his grandchildren, Andrea Boff (Andrew), Morgan Blake (Tom), Hunter Vogel (Beth), Jennifer Clemens, Lindsay Amweg (Jaxson), Gavin Vogel and Bryant Vogel; and his sister Bonnie Goldenetz. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (510 Jackson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512).
